🛒 Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 tbsp peanut butter (or almond butter)
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional but smug)
Optional Add-Ins:
- Mini dark chocolate chips
- Desiccated coconut
- Dash of cinnamon
🍳 Method
Step 1
In a bowl, mash 1 ripe banana until mostly smooth.
Step 2
Add 1 cup rolled oats, 2 tbsp peanut butter, 1 tbsp maple syrup, and 1 tbsp cocoa powder. Mix until combined.
Step 3
Stir in chia seeds or chocolate chips if using.
Step 4
Roll into small balls (about tablespoon size) and place on a tray lined with baking paper. Because I'm lazy and don't like washing m hands a million times in between rolling the balls out, I use a small ice cream scoop.
Step 5
Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to firm up.
Then try not to eat six while “quality checking.”

- Takes less time than negotiating a tantrum
Also: no refined sugar crash. We protect the vibe.

Are these brownies? No.
Are they sweet enough to satisfy small humans without unleashing chaos? Yes.
And sometimes that’s the goal.
