🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 cup broccoli florets, chopped very finely
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 2–3 eggs (depending on size)
  • 3 tbsp plain flour

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

Optional Veg Swaps:

  • Grated carrot
  • Finely chopped baby spinach
  • Very finely diced mushrooms

You can use these in addition to or instead of broccoli for flavour changes.

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C and line an oven-proof dish with baking paper.

Step 2
In a bowl, combine:

  • 1 cup finely chopped broccoli
  • 1 cup grated cheese

Mix until fully combined. The mixture should be thick but spoonable.

Step 3
Pour the mixture into your lined dish and spread evenly.

Alternative:

Step 4
Bake at 180°C for 10–15 minutes, until:

  • Eggs are fully set
  • Cheese is melted
  • The mixture lifts away from the baking paper in one piece

Step 5
Cool on a rack for about 10 minutes before slicing.
